Madison, GA (June 30, 2011) - The Fare Thee Well Foundation is pleased to announce the funding of our second annual Fare Thee Well / Pepperland Music Camp Scholarship. The scholarship will cover 100% of the cost for a child who would not otherwise be able to attend the two-week music and nature camp near Murphy, NC. The recipient of this year’s scholarship is Isabell Freewalker. We know she’ll enjoy her experience, learn a lot and make lasting memories at Pepperland!
Our ability to fund the Fare Thee Well Scholarship is thanks to the hard work of many Atlanta-area bands / musicians, club owners and most importantly music fans who care about making a difference - no matter how small - in the community. We owe our success to the hard work of this giving, caring group of people.
Pepperland Farm Camp is a nonprofit organization who’s vision is to give children from all walks of life the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature, music, and the good fortune of extended family. Pepperland, located just west of Murphy, NC, offers a variety of programs such as; earth skills, school day trips, family weekends, and music camp.
